Sustainability Policy
Cascading the London Analytics Sustainability Policy
We shall source our products and services from business with sustainability policies consistent with our own wherever possible.
Environmental Policy
London Analytics will carry out its business in accordance with the three Rs of good environmental practice:
- Reduce
Consumption of energy and materials will be minimised, in so far as is practicable in maintaining business continuity. Where materials are available from recycled sources, these will be preferred when total product lifecycle resource costs are minimised. Energy will be procured from sustainable sources wherever possible. Preferred methods of business travel are, in descending order: walking, cycling, tram, bus, rail, tube, car, taxi, plane.
- Re-use
When any materials have reached the end of their useful life, they will be assigned new roles within the business where possible.
- Recycle
When any materials have no further use within the business, they will be recycled where possible. Recycling bins are available in the office for paper, glass and metals.
Engagement
Stakeholders will be consulted on any business decisions that affect their quality of life, and their environment. Employees will be consulted in person. Other stakeholders will be consulted in person, by email, by post or by phone as is most appropriate in each case.
Equity
We shall provide equitable opportunities and outcomes for all our stakeholders, particularly the poorest and most vulnerable members of the community. Resources will be used to provide for the needs of all, without exclusion or disadvantage to any group.
Economic Development
Inward investment will be targeted at geographic areas scoring badly on the ODPM Multiple Deprivation Index.
